Time to go on a Cool Fat-Free Journey…

Once upon a time, there was only liposuction or cosmetic surgery, which was used to get rid of the unwanted pockets of fat on your body.  As not everyone likes the thought of going under the knife, the relatively new fat reduction procedure, CoolSculpting, is proving for many to be an excellent fat reduction treatment as it is non-invasive and non-surgical.

Because we all have unwanted pockets of fat on our bodies which, regardless of exercise and diet, are really difficult to get rid of and so, sometimes cosmetic treatments are required to help.

And now that we have the new kid on the block – CoolSculpting – the fat freezing miracle treatment, we can all benefit from this non-surgical, non-invasive fat reduction procedure.

Coolsculpting’s scientific name is cryolipolysis, which is a technical way of saying fat freezing – because yes, quite literally, with Coolscupting, fat cells are frozen and then killed off.  Because fat doesn’t like the cold, and at specific temperatures, they’ll freeze and, once that’s happened, your body will get rid of the dead cells.  The result – a slimmer you!

If you need to lose a bit of weight and are finding that regardless of your diet or exercise regime, you are on a losing battle, perhaps it’s time you considered Coolsculpting…

Target Those Fat Spots
So, without becoming overly scientific, CoolSculpting is a fat-freezing specialist treatment, and it’s specially designed to treat small areas of fat bulges like those around the chin (the submental), the jawline (submandibular), the thighs, abdomen, flanks, buttocks, and that troublesome bra and back fat areas.

It basically works by placing a roll of fat into two panels that cool your unwanted fat to a freezing temperature.

One of the main benefits of this treatment is how fast and easy the non-invasive treatments can be, so, although it’s not a weight-loss technique, it’s perfect for removing those irritating, unwanted areas of annoying fat.

Simply put, the treated fat cells are frozen, and then they die.

The CoolSculpting process causes very little discomfort and virtually no patient recovery downtime, and with visible results noticeable as early as four to six weeks after treatment.

This controlled miracle matter gives the skin a much more refreshed and rejuvenated appearance.

Which Parts of the Body Do They Treat?

CoolSculpting is FDA approved for the treatment of 9 treatment areas, including the treatment of love handles, fat in the arms, knees and bra rolls, the tummy, flanks, thighs, bra fat, upper and lower arm fat, the chin and back fat known as the banana roll.

But, as the case with any cosmetic procedure, it’s all about finding the right treatment for the individual patient, but CoolSculpting has been proven to be extremely effective.

The main caveat then is to ensure you have the correct amount of fat for the applicator to adhere to.

How Does the Treatment Work?

Once you’ve made the decision to have CoolSculpting, the first step is to have an assessment with the specialist who will discuss your medical history and will carry out a thorough evaluation to determine whether you’ll be a suitable candidate for CoolSculpting treatment.

It’s essential that your fat is subcutaneous, which basically means you have fat that can be pulled and grabbed and, in other words, manipulated.

Using a specialist applicator, the treatment can be used to target, then cool, and reduce unwanted fat cells in the chosen fatty areas by making them crystalize and wither away naturally and with noticeably long-lasting results. This usually takes about 35 minutes.

Initially, you, as the patient, may feel a slight cool tingling sensation, and then the area will become numb, and all you’ll feel is the sensations of tugging, mild pinching, and intense cold – some people even read or use their computers during the treatment!

The vacuum-like process suctions away the targeted fat areas, then it deep-freezes your fat cells, which causes them to eventually die and become naturally expelled from your body through your lymphatic system.

After the CoolSculpting treatment, a massage is given to activate the fat that has been released from the damaged fat cells.

Studies have shown that the procedure results are still there after six months and that the frozen dead fat cells are excreted out of your body through your liver within several weeks of your CoolSculpting treatment, and that you’ll see the best results of fat loss within three months.

How Effective is CoolSculpting?

A single CoolSculpting neck session can reduce your neck fat by roughly 20 percent, making it a very effective body sculpting technique.

Initially, it’ll probably take up to roughly three months for you to see the results – results vary

The targeted fat cells are permanently eliminated and won’t be regenerated, so the results are incredibly long-lasting, and you can enjoy an improved jawline or flatter tummy that will make you look younger and feel more confident than you may have for years.

Coolsculpting treatment is carried out in a medspa or a doctor’s office who can offer CoolSculpting as a form of non-invasive fat-reducing treatment, as the systems are extremely expensive to install and aren’t run-of-the-mill body treatments.

Side effects for CoolSculpting are pretty minimal and are really limited to the first few days – there is redness in most patients but bruising and swelling in only a few.

So, in a nutshell, CoolSculpting can offer you a scalpel-free beautiful new body, face, and neck, as well as being a significant confidence boost – indefinitely, because once the fat cells are killed off, goodbye chubby legs!

Ta -da!

So, is it effective? We’d say so.  As it’s non-surgical and non-invasive, you’ll find the results can be truly unique with the correct application and planning.

Each problem area takes less than an hour to treat, and you can even drive home after you’ve had the CoolSculpting treatment work done.  Downtime, then, is virtually non-existent.

As with any cosmetic procedure, trust only top board-certified dermatologists and doctors to perform this CoolSculpting cosmetic treatment, of course!
